UWA is delighted to announce that it has been ranked in the top 100 universities in the internationally-recognised Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

UWA has moved up 14 places to rank 96th in the world, and it now ranks in the world’s top one percent of all universities.

In the field of Life and Agricultural Science it has moved up seven places to be ranked 26th in the world.

In Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy it ranks in the band from 51 to 75 and in the subject band of 76 to 100 for Chemistry.

This is a fantastic result and it puts UWA in an excellent position to continue to strive for its overarching goal of being counted among the top 50 universities in the world by 2050.
