Aircraft Maintenance Engineering BSc (Hons) - University of Glamorgan

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering  course offering in University of Glamorgan is now run in collaboration with British Airways and this has given this course some amazing USPs – it is the only one of its kind in the UK, there are guest lecturers from BA staff, extra practical experience is offered by BA and students receive an additional BA certificate upon graduation.

Otago offers scholarships to international students for postgraduate research. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

University of Otago Coursework Master’s Scholarship
The University of Otago Coursework Master's Scholarship provides funding to support course work-based Master's students studying at the University of Otago. NZ$10,000 towards fees in the first instance. Applicants can apply any time.

Research Master’s scholarships
Research Master’s scholarships support students during the thesis part of a research Master’s degree; pre-thesis papers are not covered by these scholarships.  For international applicants there are four University of Otago International Master’s Scholarship savailable per year; one per teaching Division.  Due to the limited number of these scholarships, applicants require very good grades to be successful.  We only recommend applying if your grades in the later years of your degree are at A or A+ level.

Doctoral scholarships
Applications for doctoral-level scholarships should usually occur when applying for admission, and should be uploaded as part of the online admission application process.

La Trobe University, Melbourne

La Trobe University (LTU) is an internationally recognised University, consistently ranked among the top 500 universities in the world since 2003 (Academic Ranking of World Universities). The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2011-2012 placed La Trobe University within the top 400 universities, and the QS World University Rankings 2011-2012 placed LTU at 317 globally.

In the recent 2012 Excellence in Research of Australia (ERA) rankings, La Trobe University was placed top 10 in Australia for its research. LTU now has 11 areas of research where they are rated well above world standard, including analytical chemistry, microbiology, physiology, nursing, archaeology and historical studies.

Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES)
Academic Excellences Scholarships (AES) are awarded to international students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. The scholarships are non-renewable tuition fee awards of A$10,000-20,000. (Applicants need to have achieved a minimum of 85% or equivalent in their previous degree/award).

Postgraduate Research Scholarships
·         La Trobe University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (LTURPRS): $24,630 in 2013
·         La Trobe University Full fee Remission Scholarship (LTUFRS): $22,960-$27,800 in 2013
These highly competitive scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and the closing date for applications is 30 September the previous year.

South East Asia Scholarships (SEAS)
South East Asia Scholarships (SEAS) are awarded to students with an overall GPA 70% or above in a recognised bachelor degree or for student who have achieved a overall IELTS score higher than required to be admitted to the course. These scholarships are non-renewable tuition fee awards of A$3000.

ELICOS Scholarships
ELICOS Scholarships are awarded to students who meet La Trobe University representatives at an exhibition or interview programs. These scholarships are for 5 weeks ELICOS at La Trobe Melbourne (the equivalent of A$2050 in tuition fee).
