The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) can be completed in 6 years of full-time study. The MBBS Program at the University of Adelaide provides students with state of the art education and training to enable them, as graduates, to practise medicine in the 21st Century. Applicants are required to have previously studied ONE of the following subjects: Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.
The 5-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery Program at the University of Adelaide is the only professional dental program in South Australia. The dynamic curriculum is delivered within a case-based learning approach, and formal lectures have been kept to a minimum. There is an emphasis on contextual learning of relevant scientific information throughout the program. This occurs concurrently with the development of clinical skills, which begins from day one. Applicants are required to have previously studied TWO of the following subjects: One from Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics and one from Biology, Chemistry, Geology or Physics.
The 3-year full-time Bachelor of Oral Health Program at the School of Dentistry, University of Adelaide is the only professional Oral Health program in South Australia. The Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) focuses on the development of competence in clinical examination and diagnosis of dental disease; the formulation of individual treatment plans for clients; control and prevention of dental diseases by clinical treatment and preventative procedures; and education of clients and the community towards patterns of behaviour conducive to good oral health. There will be substantial opportunities to learn and practice in a variety of hospital and community settings, both in public and private, in metropolitan rural and interstate locations. Applicants are required to have previously studied ONE of the following subjects: Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.

Coventry University is celebrating the opening of our £55 million state of the art engineering and computing building by launching a new merit based scholarship scheme. Up to 55 scholarships to a total value of £200,000 will be awarded to high achieving students joining the university in September 2013.
Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis and applicants will need to submit a 500 word essay on how they will use the qualification they gain from Coventry University to contribute to the field of engineering and computing.
Who can apply for the scholarship?
The scholarship is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate international students wishing to join a degree programme within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing.
The value of scholarships available are:
Undergraduate – £4,500*
Undergraduate top up – £2,500
Postgraduate – £2,500
