Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship before the deadline – 28th November 2014!

A quick reminder - we are offering 20 Staffordshire University Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships for January 2015 intake.  These will be awarded on a competitive basis to the best 20 international candidates. Scholarships will be awarded to students who can demonstrate outstanding achievement and potential and who have the ability to make an on-going contribution to the University community.  

These one-off Scholarships of £1,500 are available to international students enrolling for the first time on our full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree courses starting in January 2015 on campus in the UK.  
The deadline for receiving a completed application form is 28th November 2014.

Bradford College launch a new Music Foundation course from February 2015!!

Bradford College, in collaboration with the University of Adelaide and University Senior College, is excited to offer a Foundation Studies pathway to the Bachelor of Music. Students are required to study two music subjects as part of their Foundation Studies Program, and will receive private tuition in their instrument of choice from music tutors from the University’s Elder Conservatorium of Music.

All students at Bradford College are part of the University of Adelaide and have access to the University’s facilities and resources.

Part of the course will be weekly individualized music tuition sessions to prepare students for the audition, as well as involvement with relevant music events and performances.

Enrolment requirements
Unless there are exceptional circumstances such as, but not limited, to medical or family reasons, students must meet ALL of the following:
  • Must maintain a ‘good standing’ status
  • Must maintain full time studies of 100 credit points each semester
  • Must remain an international student through the duration of the scholarship period (penalties may apply for students who withdraw or are terminated from their scholarship year)
  • Can defer the scholarship to Semester 2, 2015 only (depending on course availability and eligibility)
  • Cannot defer studies in year of scholarship
  • Master must be with a minimum 400 credits otherwise 25% scholarship for the first semester only

  • Curtin University has the right to withdraw the scholarship at any time
How to apply
Application process
Students MUST apply through a Curtin University registered education agent:
Students cannot apply directly to Curtin University Sydney.
Admissions will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful.
Applications will be assessed for eligibility and when accepting any Offer from Curtin University, students are required to read and sign the respective terms and conditions
Students cannot apply for this scholarship if they are a recipient of, or have applied for, any other Curtin University scholarship.
