Fashion student awarded for successful placement
Fashion BA (Hons) student Paige Ryan has been chosen to receive the ‘Hays Specialist Recruitment Prize 2014’.
Paige secured a year-long placement with Claire’s Accessories which has 3,569 stores in 36 countries. She has seen many of her products go into store and become bestsellers.
The placement helped Paige to understand the fashion accessories business and see all aspects of the industry.

Photography students experience cultural exchange
Photography students recently took part in an Online International Learning project with media students at the Universidad d’Europa in Madrid.
Students researched similar subjects and exchanged research and images with their international partners and then presented their findings to their own cohort.
The students were also invited to join a cultural trip to Madrid and visit the University.
