Accommodation online booking go-live dates

The University accommodation online booking service will go live on the following days for conditional and unconditional offer holders:
  • Unconditional offer holders from 18 February
  • All offer holders from 16 March.
Students will need to visit our book accommodation section, select their room and pay a non-refundable £200 booking fee.

Research excellence results celebrated by University

Nottingham Trent University is celebrating the announcement that almost all of its research is of 'world-leading', 'internationally-excellent', or 'internationally-recognised' standard. 

The Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 - the new system for assessing the quality and impact of research in UK higher education institutions – judged that 90% of research submitted by the University fell within these top three categories. 


International Scholarships now available

NTU are pleased to offer scholarships from £1,000 up to half of the tuition fee for students starting a course in September 2015. 

NTU prestigious scholarships give students a reduction on their fees and give them the chance to be a Scholarship Winner Ambassador and enjoy a range of opportunities.

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship students must have already received an offer of a place at the University for September 2015.

There are a number of application deadlines throughout the year:
  • 25 February 2015
  • 29 April 2015
  • Final deadline: 24 June 2015

£10.3 million science centre

Science Centre
Nottingham Trent University is to invest £10.3 million to establish more facilities devoted to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

A new teaching centre will contain state-of-the-art laboratories for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Five stars under the QS Star system

NTU has been judged as world class for its quality of teaching, international diversity, links with industry and its commitment to giving students from disadvantaged backgrounds access to higher education.

The University earned five stars for the international diversity of its students and staff, as well as for the quality of its facilities, strong links with industry which improve student employability and for the work it has done to give students from disadvantaged backgrounds access to higher education.
