STUDY TO WORK with NZMA in 2016

Students have the opportunity to explore world-class pathway programmes, many with paid internship opportunities and post-study work visas while mixing with the many domestic students at ACG campuses.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Internship delivers opportunity for students in our two-year diploma programmes.
  1. On the job skills training
  2. Being paid to learn:
  • A student may earn $9,000.00+ from work during a 600-hour internship.
  • For successful students the employer may offer full-time employment post study.
  • Being paid during internship effectively reduces the educational investment cost.
  • A valuable opportunity to experience a New Zealand work environment, to pay taxes and to contribute to the economic success of the business.

TWO-YEAR DIPLOMAS are the ideal study pathway for school graduates.

  1. Students need to have completed their school education; they do not need to have gained the grades required to join a university, but they can join this pathway with skills learnt through the formative years in primary and secondary school.
  2. Students need to have achieved the required level of English.
  3. Students who complete our two-year Diploma of Applied Hospitality Management can join a degree pathway to the Bachelor of International Hospitality Management at AUT University. A further 18 months of study at AUT is required to complete the degree.
